'Akkarakki Thaandra' video song from Chevvaikizhamai out

The makers of the upcoming film Chevvaikizhamai released the video song titled 'Akkarakki Thaandra' on Wednesday. The song is a kuthu number revolving around a crowd which seems to indulge in drinking a local spirit in a village. The heavily choerographed number is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath and sung by Gold Devaraj and Girish.

Helmed by Ajay Bhupathi, the film stars Payal Rajput in the lead role. Ajmal and Nandita Shwetha also play key roles in the film. The film is being positioned as a pan-Indian offering, being titled Chovvazhcha in Malayalam and Mangalavaaram in Telugu and Kannada. Chevvaikizhamai is produced by Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M under the banners Mudhra Creative Works and A Creative Works respectively.

Apart from Ajneesh B Loknath composing music, the film features cinematography by Sivendra Dasaradhi and editing by Madhav Kumar Gullapalli.  Chevvaikizhamai is all set to hit theatres on November 17.
