The video song 'Minmini Nee' from Halitha Shameem's recent film Minmini was released on Monday.

The song, composed by Khatija Rahman, has vocals by Sarthak Kalyani, Sireesha Bhagavatula, and Hiral Viradia and is written by Halitha Shameem.

Minmini, which is said to be Halitha's dream project, was shot over seven years to show the real growth of the actors. It features a bunch of child artists from Halitha's debut film, Poovarasam Peepe (2014). Minmini stars actors Esther Anil, Praveen Kishore, and Gaurav Kalai in lead roles. Halitha later became popular for directing films such as Sillu Karupatti (2019) and Aelay (2021). She also directed a segment in Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa (2022).

Minmini is expected to be a coming-of-age film that follows two youngsters who carry survivors’ guilt. Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the cinematography while also co-producing the film. Raymond Derrick Crasta has handled the editing.
