Jiiva-Arjun join hands for Pa Vijay's Aghathiyaa

As actor Jiiva is gearing up for the release of Black, it was announced that he would join hands with Arjun to star in Aghathiyaa, written and directed by Tamil cinema lyricist Pa Vijay.

The film's first look featured Jiiva, Arjun, Raashii Khanna and Edward Sonnanblick. Aghathiyaa also stars Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh and Redin Kingsley. The makers captioned the poster, "A battle to unbury the mystery! A journey to redeem the lost glory."

Bankrolled by Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International and Aneesh Arjun Dev's Wam India, the film's technical crew comprises music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematograher Dipak Kumar Padhy, editor San Lokesh, stunt choreographer K Ganesh and dance choreographer Sridhar. Without the mention of a release date, the makers said the film would release in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Meanwhile, Jiiva's upcoming thriller Black, will get its theatrical release on October 11. The film, by debut director KG Balasubramani, stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Vivek Prasanna, Shiva Shara and Swayam Siddha are cast in important roles.
