After the successful release of the 'Manasilayo' track, the makers of Vettaiyan dropped the second single from the film that is titled 'Hunter Vantaar'. Siddharth Basrur sang it with lyrics by Arivu and Anirudh's composition.

Both the lyrics and the song video pay homage to the stardom of Rajinikanth and his trademark manoeuvres. One of the lines goes, "Ivan style le dhaan, generation eye, Rajination aanadhey." Another portion shows Rajinikanth's character holding what looks like an iron rod, with an inscription that reads "Since 1972," alluding to the actor's debut year and longevity in cinema. It also has an animated version of a younger Rajinikanth, to go with scores of fans venerating his stardom in front of his massive cutouts.

Earlier, composer Anirudh shared a teaser for the song on social media featuring him grooving to it with singer Siddharth Basrur. The title also alludes to Rajinikanth's character in the film who is a police officer specialising in encounters.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan has an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan (in his Tamil debut), Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and VJ Rakshan. Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth are reuniting for this film after 33 years. Their last film was Hum, which was released in 1991.

Besides Anirudhd, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer SR Kathir and editor Philomin Raj.

Vettaiyan is scheduled to hit theaters on October 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
