For a few days now, the makers of Vijay's last film, Thalapathy 69, have been announcing the cast members of the film. The cast members were revealed to be Bobby Deol, Pooja Hedge, Mamitha Baiju, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj and Narain. 

On Thursday, the makers also announced the technical crew of the upcoming film, which is directed by H Vinoth. The film will have cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan, editing by Pradeep E Ragav, action choreography by Anlarasu, art directed by Selva Kumar and costume design by Pallavi Singh. Sathyan Sooryan has previously worked with H Vinoth in Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and with Vijay in Master. 

 As announced previously, Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for the upcoming film. Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions will produce the film, with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith NK serving as co-producers. Details about the film's plot are scanty.  Thalapathy 69 is slated for an October 2025 release.
