Tension prevailed amidst the cast and crew of Vijay Sri G's next Maheswara following an accident while canning a stunt sequence on Friday.

The team of Maheswara, starring Hamsavirdhan, was filming a stunt sequence involving a car chase on the Ariyalur highway. Barring minor injuries, there were no reports of loss of life or any severe damage.

Hamsavirdhan, known for his lead roles in Punnagai Desam, Junior Senior, Manthiran, and Piragu, is also bankrolling the film under the Red Dragon Entertainment banner.

Apart from Hamsavirdhan, the film also stars Ramki, KGF Ram, PL Thenappan, and Vela Ramamurthy. With the first schedule set in and around Tiruchy, the team is expected to move to Russia, Bolivia, and other European nations for subsequent schedules.
