The Jayam Ravi starrer family drama Brother is slated for a November 29 release on ZEE5, the streaming platform announced through X. The M Rajesh directorial also stars Natty Nataraj and Priyanka Mohan in main roles. It marked Natty's first on-screen pairing with Jayam Ravi. It is also the first time Jayam Ravi acted in a film with director M Rajesh. At the same time, it reunites Natty with Rajesh after the web series Victim.

The film, which talks about the importance of family, released in theatres on October 31, alongside Sivakarthikeyan-Sai Pallavi's Amaran and Kavin's Bloody Beggar.

An excerpt from CE's review of the film reads, "Brother could have been a better film if Rajesh had stuck to the exploration of emotions and bonding instead of reverting to the no-longer-funny comedy routines."

The cast of the film also includes Bhumika Chawla, Rao Ramesh, and Saranya Ponvannan.
