Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu director Suresh Sangaiah passes away

Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, Suresh’s debut film, received critical acclaim for its unique blend of humor, as well as road film and thriller elements

According to reports, filmmaker Suresh Sangaiah died at the Rajiv Gandhi hospital at 10:20 pm on Friday due to jaundice. A native of Kovilpatti, Suresh is known for helming the films Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu and Sathiya Sothanai. Recently, he finished a film with Yogi Babu in the lead role for Disney+ HotStar.

The film was praised for its writing, performances, and storytelling. Many critics highlighted Suresh’s ability to blend dark humor with thought-provoking themes. Some noted that from the quality of the film, it was evident Suresh served as M Manikandan’s associate.

Suresh is survived by his two children.
