The first single from DNA, starring Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles has been released by the makers. Titled 'Kanne Kanave', the soothing melody has been sung by Sreekanth Hariharan and Sireesha Bhagavatula, with lyrics written by Karthik Netha.

DNA is directed and written by Nelson Venkatesan, with Athisha Vino being the co-writer. Besides Atharvaa and Nimisha, Ramesh Thilak and Balaji Sakthivel play crucial roles in the film.

The film went on floors in October last year and wrapped filming this July. The makers are yet to lock a release date, but DNA is expected to hit screens soon.

On the technical crew, DNA has cinematography by Parthiban, editing VJ Sabu Joseph, and stunt direction by Don Ashok. The film is bankrolled by Olympia Movies' Ambethkumar.

Atharvaa, who was last seen in Pattathu Arasan, is awaiting the release of Karthick Naren's Nirangal Moondru, which has been in production for a long time. The film hits theatres on November 22. He also has Address, and Thanal, in the pipeline.
