Music composer D Imman announced on Wednesday that he is going to launch his own music label.

Named DI Sound Factory, D Imman will host an event at Chennai's Prasad Lab on November 15 at 10 am to launch his label.

Imman began his career as a music composer in Tamil cinema in actor Vijay's Thamizhan in 2002. His big breakthrough came in 2010 with Prabu Solomon's Mynaa and has been part of several hit projects like Kumki (2012), Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (2013), Jilla (2014), Kayal (2014), Romeo Juliet (2015), Bogan (2017), Kadaikutty Singam (2018) and Viswasam (2019). Notably, Imman won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Viswasam, directed by Siva, which starred Ajith and Nayanthara.

Having composed music for films Inga Naan Thaan Kingu, Teenz and Petta Rap this year, Imman has Eleven, 2K Love Story, Malai, Public, Valli Mayil, Mambo and Chennai City Gangsters yet to release.
