PM Narendra Modi: Delhi Ganesh was able to connect with viewers across generations

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi penned a condolence note over the demise of veteran Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh.

The PM, on his X handle praised saying that Ganesh was "blessed with impeccable acting skills". He went on to add that the depth he carried in each role gave him the ability "to connect with viewers across generations."

Delhi Ganesh, known for both comedy and supporting roles, breathed his last on Saturday. He was 80.

Ganesh's son Mahadevan informed about his father's demise on his Instagram handle. The Nayakan actor reportedly passed away due to age related illness at his Ramapuram residence.

K-town stars including Rajinikanth, Vijay, Sivakumar, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Madhavan, alongside veteran directors SP Muthuraman, Suresh Krissna and actor S Ve Shekher, have honoured his legacy.
