The parallels between both characters in their stunts and emotional scenes are clearly indicative of Francis resuming whatever Kanguva left unfinished

Ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on November 14, the makers of the Suriya-starrer have launched the film's second trailer on Sunday.

The glimpse, titled Release Trailer, conveys one major thing leaving no room for ambiguity. It is easy to guess that Kanguva of the medieval period has reincarnated as Francis in the modern day. But the parallels between both characters in their stunts and emotional scenes are clearly indicative of Francis resuming whatever Kanguva left unfinished. The trailer video ends with a tease of showing just a person's jaw, adding more fuel to speculations of Karthi being a part of the project.

Apart from Suriya, Kanguva also stars Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Ravi Raghavendra, BS Avinash and Deepa Venkat, among others. The film will mark the Tamil debut of Disha Patani.

The fantasy period action film, which will be made in two parts, is expected to traverse across multiple time periods. Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva will feature cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf, and art direction by the late Milan Fernandez. Dialogues for the film have been written by Madhan Karky. According to reports, the film is expected to be released in 38 languages in 3D and IMAX versions.
