Director Ashwath Marimuthu is busy assembling the star cast of his next film Dragon, headlined by Pradeep Ranganathan. The latest to join the team are VJ Siddhu and Harshath Khan. Following their success in digital platforms, the duo are all set to debut on the silver screen with this upcoming film where they will be seen playing Anbu and Vetri respectively.

VJ Siddhu and Harshath Khan join the earlier announced cast members Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar. While Pradeep plays the unruly titular character Dragon, Anupama plays Dragon's love interest Keerthi. Kayadu Lohar, who onboarded the cast recently, will be seen taking on the role of Pallavi. Dragon marks her Tamil debut. While the plot details have not been revealed, it looks like Pradeep will be playing a college student in this fun-filled entertainer.

Marked as AGS Entertainment's 26th project, the upcoming film has a script written by Ashwath based on a story he has co-written with Pradeep. Archana Kalpathi serves as the creative producer. This is AGS' second collaboration with Pradeep after a successful outing with Love Today (2022).

Dragon has music composed by Leon James, who previously collaborated with Ashwath on Oh My Kadavule. The technical team of the film also includes cinematographer Niketh Bommi and editor Pradeep E Ragav. The film will be released in Tamil as well as in Telugu.
