Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale Trailer: An exclusive peek into the star's life, love and her rise to fame

Actor Nayanthara, who has been private about her life, has opened doors to the audience for the first time to take a look at her life, career and her relationships. In the trailer of the upcoming Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, the star reveals details about her life and the ups and downs she has faced as an actor in the film industry.

The film also features accounts from friends and colleagues, including Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Radikaa Sarathkumar, as well as her family and husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. The film will also show a few unseen footages from their wedding which took place in 2022, while the star and the director reveal their love story.

In the trailer, Rana Daggubati calls Nayanthara a "thug" and says, "She walked as a thug and stayed as a thug, that's what I like about her." Radikaa Sarathkumar praises her film choices and the way she has progressed over the years and says, "I like the way she has positioned herself." Nayanthara also reveals the dark times of her career and life, saying she "trusted people easily."

"I’ve shared so much of my life on screen, but this documentary is my gift to the fans, a chance to let them in on the chapters that shaped me. Creating this film has been a true labour of love, and I’m excited for them to see this side of my world. I want to thank my fans for being with me every step of the way; I hope it feels as personal to everyone as it does to me," Nayanthara shares.

Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale will release on Netflix India on November 18, on the occasion of the actor's 40th birthday.
