After the success of Raayan, Dhanush the director is busy with two projects, namely, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) and Idli Kadai.

Dhanush shared a cryptic update announcement on Thursday along with a picture. The picture featuring a lone government bus in the middle of lush greenery hints the announcement could be about who all are on-boarding the project. But there are also speculations that this could be about either the release date update or teaser/trailer update. However, these multiple speculations could wait till 11 AM tomorrow, when the makers would unveil the announcement.

Apart from directing, Dhanush will also star in and co-produce Idli Kadai, which features Nithya Menen in a prominent role.

Idli Kadai will be Dhanush's fourth directorial after Pa Paandi, Raayan, and Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. Going by the poster, it looks like a slice-of-life film. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music for the film, adding to his recent collaborations with Dhanush, such as Vaathi, Captain Miller, and Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The film will be made collaboratively by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wunderbar films. Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush are the producers, while Sreyas Srinivasan is the executive producer.
