'Salary' song from Family Padam out

The film, written and directed by Selvah Kumar Thirumaaran, wrapped filming earlier this year

The makers of Udhay Karthik and Vivek Prasanna starrer Family Padam released the first single from the film titled 'Salary' on Wednesday.

The number lists out the troubles faced by salaried middle-class people in a funny manner. The 'Salary' song is composed and sung by Anivee; he has written it along with Ahamed Shyam.

The film, written and directed by Selvah Kumar Thirumaaran, wrapped filming earlier this year. Apart from Udhay and Vivek, the film also stars Subhiksha Kayarohanam, Parthiban Kumar, Sreeja Ravi, Mohana Sundharam, Kavin, Janani, Santhosh Kesavan and Arvind Janakiraman.

In a previous conversation with CE about the film, the director shared, "The story is about three brothers with a common goal. There are no on-your-face villains or emphasis on one particular actor."

Family Padam is backed by K Balaji of UK Creations and is co-produced by R Chinnappan and Nadish A. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Meiyendran, music director Anivee, and editor R Sudharshan.

A release date for Family Padam is yet to be announced.
