Yashika Aannand is joining hands with ex Army officer, MA Bala for her next, which is touted to be a thriller. The film is not only helmed but also written and produced by Bala under his Twinkle Lab Productions banner. The film went on floors with a pooja ceremony on the occasion of Diwali.

Previously, MA Bala has helmed Karthikeyanum Kaanamal Pona Kadhaliyum. Yashika and her co-star Ram Prasad are all set to play doctors in this mystery thriller. A real-life doctor, Ram Prasad debuts as an actor with this yet-to-be-titled film. 

The film has cinematography by David Baskar and music composed by Vibin R. The film is set to begin production in Chennai, soon. More details about the film's extended cast, crew, and plot, are yet to be announced.  

Meanwhile, Yashika who was last seen in Weapon, has Ivan Than Uthaman, Raja Bheema, Sulphur and Siruthai Siva in the pipeline.
