The first look images for actor Vidaarth's next have been released. Titled Anjaamai, the film stars Vani Bhojan as the female lead and is helmed by SP Subburaman.

Vidaarth is seated with his wife Vani Bhojan and his children in the film's poster while there is a newspaper clipping burning in the backdrop that says that NEET exam has taken the life of a person. Going by the pictures, it looks like Anjaamai will explore the complexities of underprivileged students struggling to crack the NEET exam to get an MBBS seat.

Sharing the images, Dream Warrior Pictures said the film will be a story of sacrifice and hope. "Get ready for a compelling and emotional journey," it added.

The technical team comprises of music by Raghav Prasad, cinematography by Karthick and editing by Ramsudharsan. The makers have announced that Anjaamai will be released in June, but an exact date hasn't been revealed yet. Details about the rest of the cast is also under wraps.

Apart from this film, Vidaarth, who was last seen in Devil which released in February, will be donning the role of a cop in the upcoming film Laandhar, directed by Saji Saleem. On the other hand, Vani Bhojan was last seen in Love which released in 2023.
