Actor Kavin, whose film Star released a week ago, will join Andrea Jeremiah for his upcoming film Mask.

The film helmed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok and produced by director Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company was officially launched with a formal pooja on Friday.

Actor Kavin took to social media platform X and announced the project. In his post he "double" thanked Vetrimaaran for "For taking the time to grace us with your presence in our movie 'Star'," and "For breathing life into our fiction and making it a captivating reality."

He added a hashtag The Universe Does Fall In Love With A Stubborn Heart, a quote from his recent outing Star. He also shared a video announcement of the project.

In addition to Kavin and Andrea, the film stars Ruhani Sharma, Charlie, Bala Saravanan, and VJ Archana Chandhoke.

Mask will have GV Prakash and RD Rajasekhar as its music composer and cinematographer. Vetrimaaran will produce the film along with SP Chokkalingam's Black Madras Films.

On the workfront, Kavin has Nelson's first production Bloody Beggar and Andrea has Pisaasu 2 and Manushi up next.
