Vijay Anthony's latest outing, Romeo, is all set to premiere on Aha Tamil, on May 10. The film, helmed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, also stars Mirnalini Ravi in the lead. A romantic drama, the film hit theatres on April 11 and opened to positive reviews. 

Besides playing the lead role, Vijay Antony also serves as the editor of Romeo. Produced by Meera Vijay Antony under the banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the film was also released in Telugu as Love Guru.

Romeo revolves around Arivu (Vijay Antony) and Leela (Mirnalini Ravi), who get married but don't have a functional marital relationship. As Arivu loves Leela, he tries to make her understand his love for her by helping her achieve her dream of becoming an Actor. 

The film also stars Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Ilavarasu, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sudha, and Shiva Sha Ra, among others. Romeo's technical crew is comprised of cinematographer Farook J Basha and music composer Barath Dhanasekar.
