Coolie writer Chandhru makes an important reveal about the Rajinikanth-starrer

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, a few weeks ago said he will commence filming from June

As the Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie is ready to go on floors, the film's co-writer and co-director Chandhru Anbazhagan has revealed something from his part of the pre-production work.

The writer on his X handle, formerly Twitter, wrote that the first half of the script has been locked.

He shared a pic from his brainstorming session with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and the film's associate directors Santhosh Krishnan and Immanuel Prakash.

Chandhru has worked with Lokesh in Maanagaram, he has also co-written and co-directed Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Maaveeran, directed by Madonne Ashwin.

Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, stunts by Anbariv, and production design by Sathees Kumar. The dialogues for the film are written by Lokesh along with Chandhru Anbazhagan, who has also written the additional screenplay for the film.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner, Coolie is scheduled to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.

Rajinikanth, meanwhile, is busy shooting Vettaiyan directed by TJ Gnanavel. The ensemble cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Rithika Singh, and VJ Rakshan. Apart from them, Amitabh Bachchan too will be seen sharing screen space with Rajini after 33 years since Hum (1991).
