After starring in the breezy hit Joe, actors RioRaj and MalavikaManoj will pair up again for a film directed by Kalaiarasan Thangavel.

After a formal pooja, the project was officially announced on Friday and went on floors.

The film, bankrolled by Drumsticks Production, is reportedly about a modern-day middle-class married couple whose husband has a problem with his wife's progressive ways. This would be the production house's eighth project.

Siddhu Kumar, who scored for Joe, has been roped in as the music composer for this yet-to-be-titled film.

The rest of the technical crew includes cinematographer Madesh Manikandan, editor Varun KG, and art director Vinoth Rajkumar.

The film that stars Rio and Malavika in the lead, also features the producer Vedikkaranpatti S Sakthivel, and actors Sheela Rajkumar and RJ Vigneshkanth in pivotal roles.
