Darshan and Aarsha Chandini Baiju to star in debutant Rajavel's film

Apart from the leads, actors Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and KPY Dheena play prominent roles

Actors Darshan and Aarsha Chandini Baiju, known for their roles in Thunivu and Mukundan Unni Associates respectively, will star in the debut project of director Rajavel.

The project was launched with a formal pooja on Satruday.

The film billed "a fun filled fantasy" by the makers, is jointly bankrolled by Vijayaprakash under the banners Playsmith Studios, Viva Entertainment. Director-writer SP Shakthivel will serve as the creative producer for the film under the South Studios TN banner.

Apart from the leads, actors Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and KPY Dheena play prominent roles.

The film's music will be scored by Rajesh Murugesan, best known for delivering chartbusters in the Malayalam romantic drama Premam (2015) directed by Alphonse Puthren. A Nisharsharef has been roped in as the editor of this film.

While Thunivu was Darshan's last major appearance, he also starred in an uncredited role in Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan. Aarsha, meanwhile, awaits the release of her Tamil film Mugai and Malayalam film Qurbaani. She was last seen in Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss and co, directed by Haneef Adeni.
