With Idi Minnal Kadhal set to hit the theatres on March 29, the makers announced that the film has completed the censorship formalities with a U/A certificate. Written and directed by Balaji Madhavan, Idi Minnal Kadhal stars Ciby and Bhavya Trikha in lead roles.

The earlier released trailer of the film showed the romance between the lead actors, only for a road accident to turn their lives upside down. 

Besides Ciby and Bhavya, the film also stars Radha Ravi, Balaji Sakthivel, Jay Adithya, Jagan, Vincent Nakul, Manoj Mullath, Mona Bedre, Anusha, Sri Ram, Somu, Sivaraj, Ruthru, and Yasmin Ponappa, who is making a comeback after Aaranya Kandam.

Backed by Jayachander Pinnamneni and Balaji Madhavan under the banner Pavaki Entertainment, Idi Minnal Kadhal has dialogues co-written by Anandh Kumaresan with the director. The film's technical team comprises cinematographer Jayachander Pinnamneni, editor Anthony, and music director Sam C S.
