Rakshan-starrer Marakkuma Nenjam, which hit the theatres on February 2, is currently streaming on Prime Videos. 

Directed by Yoagandran, who had previously made Methagu 2, Marakkuma Nenjam marks Rakshan's debut film as the lead character.

The film is backed by Filia Entertainment and Kuviyam Mediaworks. Following the theatrical release, the film will met with mixed reception from the audience. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, " This back-to-school tale is bland and full of cliches. Blatant loopholes, underwhelming world-building and predictability make this school film forgettable." 

Apart from Rakshan, the film also stars Vishaka Dhiman, 'Prankster' Rahul, Dheena, and KPY Rajkumar. With music by Sachin Warrier and lyrics by Thamarai, the cinematography and editing are by Gopi Duraisamy and Shashank Malik, respectively.
