DeAr, starring GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, is all set to hit theatres on April 11, the makers announced on Sunday. The film is helmed by Anand Ravichandran, who has previously directed Sethum Aayiram Pon.

A family drama, the film features Thalaivasal Vijay, Rohini, Kaali Venkat, and Nandhini as GV Prakash's side of the family, and Ilavarasu, and Geeta Kailasam as Aishwarya's family members.

In an earlier conversation with CE, director Anand Ravichandran said, "DeAr is a family drama revolving around a husband and wife. It deals with a particular conflict that has happened in my house as well and the film tells how this particular family deals with it. It is a couple's story and starts off with the wedding and ends touching upon what it takes to have a long-lasting marriage."

DeAr is backed by Varun Tripuraneni, Abhishek Ramisetty and G Pruthviraj under the Nutmeg Productions banner. Apart from playing the lead, GV Prakash has also composed music for the film. Cinematography has been handled by Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy, while Rukesh has handled editing.
