Earlier, we had reported that actor Jayam Ravi's 35th film is titled Genie, directed by Arjunan Jr, an erstwhile assistant of Mysskin. On Sunday, the makers released the first look poster of the film.

In the first look poster, Jayam Ravi is portrayed as a genie coming out of a pot. He is surrounded by gold coins, money, and sweets, while a broken chain encircles him.

Mounted on a big- budget, the upcoming film is bankrolled by Dr Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International. Billed as a pan-Indian film set to hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, Genie also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Krithi Shetty, and Wamiqa Gabbi in significant roles.

The film has music composed by A R Rahman, while others on the technical team are cinematographer Mahesh Muthuswami, editor Pradeep E Ragav, and art director Umesh J Kumar.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi, who was last seen in Siren, along with Keerthy Suresh, has a slew of films in the pipeline, including Mani Ratnam- Kamal Haasan's Thug Life, Thani Oruvan 2 and Brother, among others.
