The makers of Soodhu Kavvum 2 unveiled the first look poster of the film, on Thursday. Titled Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naadum Naatu Makkalum, the film features Shiva in the lead role. The teaser for the film is set to be unveiled by Vijay Sethupathi, on Friday.

The first-look poster is designed with the same artistic elements as the first film. We see Shiva at the centre, wielding a gun and firing a bullet, while also having devil horns on his head. We also see Karunakaran and Yog Japee on both sides of Shiva.

Written and directed by SJ Arjun, Soodhu Kavvum 2 also stars Harisha, Radha Ravi, M.S. Bhaskar, Karate Karthi, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Kalki and Kavi. The story is penned by SJ Arjun and T Yogaraja.

“The sequel is based on an original idea by Nalan. Soodhu Kavvum 2 is 100 per cent a continuation of the story from the first film,” producer CV Kumar earlier said. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Karthik K Thillai, music composer Edwin Louis Viswanath and editor Ignatious Aswin.

Soodhu Kavvum is a 2013 black crime comedy film directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. The film starred Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ashok Selvan, and Sanchita Shetty among others. However, the four actors will be not returning for the sequel.
