The much anticipated Kanguva Sizzle teaser was dropped on Tuesday. The period action film, starring Suriya and Bobby Deol will be made in two-parts.

The teaser video shows an intense battlefield with throat-slittings galore. Suriya, who plays the titular Kanguva, leads an army while the antagonist played by Bobby Deol marshalls his troops for war.

The video doesn't give away too much about the story but promises to take the audience back to Suriya's bellicose-heavy Singam days. The stunt sequences look whistle-worthy.

Kanguva also stars Disha Patani, Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. 'Siruthai' Siva teams up with his frequent collaborator Vetri Palanisamy for cinematography, the cuts are handled by Nishadh Yusuf while music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad.

The film, backed by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, is expected to be released in the second half of 2024.
