On Wednesday, the makers of Romeo, starring Vijay Antony in the lead role, released a new song titled 'Vethala'. Composed and sung by Ravi Royster, the song has lyrics penned by the actor himself. 

Written and directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan, an erstwhile assistant of filmmaker Shree Karthick, Romeo stars Mirnalini Ravi as the female lead. It is to be noted that apart from playing the lead, Vijay Antony also serves as the producer and editor of the film. The Telugu version of Romeo has been titled Love Guru.

Romeo also stars VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha and Sreeja Ravi. The film has cinematography by Farook J Basha. The distribution rights of Romeo have been bagged by Red Giant Movies.

A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
