Santhanam's latest outing at the theatres, Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, is now available to stream on Prime Video. The film, helmed by Karthik Yogi, hit theatres on February 2 and opened to mixed reviews.

Apart from Santhanam, the film also stars Jai Bhim-fame Tamizh, Megha Akash, John Vijay, MS Bhaskar, Rajendran, Seshu, Ravi Mariya, and Nizhalgal Ravi, among others.

Here's an excerpt from CE's review of Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, "Santhanam takes a restrained approach, taking the backseat and letting the supporting cast do the heavy lifting, especially when it comes to comedy scenes. On the other hand, Santhanam is also not in a hurry to assert his position as the ‘commercial hero’."

Karthik Yogi has previously worked with Santhanam for Dikkiloona. Backed by People Media Factory, Vadakkupatti Ramasamy is billed as a period comedy-drama.

With Sean Roldan composing the music, Vadakkupatti Ramasamy had cinematography by Deepak and and editing by Shiva Nandeeswaran.
