First single from Vishal's Rathnam to be out on this date

It is well-known that actor Vishal is collaborating with director Hari for his 34th film Rathnam. The action film was wrapped up last year and is all set for release in theatres on April 26, 2024.

Now, the makers have announced that they will release the first single from the film on March 9 at 6 pm. Titled, 'Don't Worry Don't Worry Da Machi', the song will be released during a college festival in Chennai. Director Hari, actor Vishal, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, lyricist Viveka, actor Samuthirakani and producer Kaarthikeyen Santhanam will be present at the event.

Rathnam is produced by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Production and Kaarthekeyan Santhanam's Zee Studios. The upcoming film will mark the third collaboration between Hari and Vishal after Thamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014). The film was shot in locations like Tuticorin, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupathi, besides Chennai.

Besides Vishal, the action film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Murali Sharma, and Samuthirakani, among others. Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music composer, which will also have cinematography by M Sukumar and editing by T S Jay.
