Actor Nakkhul's upcoming film Vasco Da Gama finally has a release date. Directed by RG Krishnan, the project, which was long in the making will now hit theatres on August 2.

Sharing the announcement, the actor shared a new poster which featured him in two different roles. While one seemingly looks like a responsible man, the one carries a gun in his hand. He wrote, "Welcome to the World of Fun, Fantasy and Unlimited Entertainment. Vasco da Gama worldwide release on August 2nd, 2024

The film marks Krishnan's second direction project. He had previously helmed an OTT film called Devadas Parvathi, which was popular for its tracks sung by the late SP Balasubrahmanyam. The film is billed to be a comedy thriller and will also feature Arthana Binu, KS Ravikumar and Munishkanth in prominent roles.

On the technical team, Vasco Da Gama has music by Arun NV, cinematography by NS Sathish Kumar and editing by Tamil Kumaran. The film is bankrolled by Dato Subhaskharan under his 5656 Productions.
