Joju George joins the sets of Suriya 44

The actor is collaborating with Karthik Subbaraj for the second time in a feature film, the first one being 2021's Jagame Thandhiram

Earlier, we reported about Joju George joining the cast of Suriya's 44th film, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Sharing a video featuring himself on a boat in the middle of a water body, Joju has now revealed that he has joined team Suriya 44 on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The actor is collaborating with Karthik Subbaraj for the second time in a feature film, the first one being 2021's Jagame Thandhiram, starring Dhanush. Apart from Suriya and Joju, the film's cast includes Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, and Karunakaran. The film went on floors this June.

Karthik Subbaraj is co-producing the film through his Stone Bench Films banner alongside Suriya's 2D Entertainment. The film has music composed by Karthik Subbaraj's regular collaborator Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, editing by Shafique Mohamed, art direction by Jackson, and action choreography by Kecha Khamphakdee.

Joju's upcoming films also include his directorial debut Pani, where he also turns writer and plays the lead character, Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan film Thug Life, and a Hindi debut through Anurag Kashyap's directorial that stars Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra.
