CE Features

The video song of 'Paraanthagaa' from the Kaali Venkat-starrer Kurangu Pedal was released by the makers on Thursday.

The song, showcasing the childhood adventure of riding a bicycle, is composed by Ghibran Vaibodha, penned by ND Rajkumar, and sung by Jayamoorthy.

Kurangu Pedal is inspired by the short story Cycle, written by Rasi Azhagappan. Santhosh Velumurugan, VR Ragavan, M Gnanasekar, Rathish, and Sai Ganesh play pivotal roles in Kurangu Pedal. Kaali Venkat plays the father, and Prasanna Balachander and Jenson Diwakar from the famous YouTube channel Nakkalites are also part of the cast.

The film, which was released on May 3, received positive reviews upon release. Our CE review of the film read, "Kurangu Pedal is one of those rare self-aware films that knows too well what its strengths are despite its predictable storyline. The film might look like it is written for kids but is also for adults who are grappling to care for their inner child."

On the technical crew, Kurangu Pedal has music by Ghibran Vaibodha, cinematography by Sumee Baskaran, editing by Shivanandeeswaran, and sound design by Antony BJ Ruban.
