Samuthirakani-Thambi Ramaiah's Rajakili gets a release window

Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah's upcoming film Rajakili, which has been long in the making, now has a release window. Suresh Kamatchi, who is bankrolling the film through his V House Productions took to his social media handles to announce that the film will hit theatres in August.

Rajakili, which marks the directorial debut of actor Umapathy Ramaiah also has Thambi Ramaiah as a music composer. Interestingly, the latter has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Rajakili is the latest film that marks the collaboration between Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah, who earlier worked in films like Sattai, Adutha Saatai, Appa, and Vinodhaya Sitham.

The film also stars Suveta Shrimpton, Miyashree Sowmya, MS Bhaskar, Pazha Karuppaiah, Ilavarasu, Aadukalam Naren, Krish, and Praveen G, among others.

The film has cinematography by Kedarnath S and Gopinath, BGM by Sai Dinesh, Audiography by Tapas Nayak and editing by R Sudharshan.
