Despite reports coming out that more than half of the filming of Sivakarthikeyan's next with director AR Murugadoss, tentatively titled SK 23, has concluded, the film's star cast keeps expanding consistently.

The latest to join the ensemble cast is Vikranth. The actor, who was last seen in Lal Salaam, is joining forces with Sivakarthikeyan and Murugadoss for the first time.

It was recently announced that actor Vidyut Jammwal had joined the SK 23 cast, possibly in a negative role.

Notably, SK23 will be Sivakarthikeyan's first collaboration with director Murugadoss, although the filmmaker had previously written the former's sports-comedy film Maan Karate, directed by Krish Thirukumaran. The team recently began shooting the second schedule of the film.
