Vemal-Bose Venkat's Ma Po Si gets a new title

Bose Venkat is directing SIR, Vetrimaaran is presenting the film, and Siraj S is producing it through his SSS Pictures banner

The team behind Bose Venkat's directorial Ma Po Si, starring actor Vemal, has officially announced that they are changing their film's title to SIR.

In their official note, the makers say that the decision "has been made after careful consideration and planning to align with our vision for the project."

The note adds that SIR will be an "engaging and impactful cinematic experience for our audiences." It further reads that updates regarding the film's posters, teaser, and trailer will be unveiled shortly.

Siddhu Kumar is the music composer for the film, while Kannan MK is executive producing it. This is the second film to cast Vemal as a teacher; earlier, he played a similar role in Vaagai Sooda Vaa.
