Twitter and Tesla chief Elon Musk in an illustrative meme on how Apple and OpenAI integration could jeopardize data privacy.

However, what caught the eye of Tamil film lovers is that the meme used by Musk was from the 2017 film Thappattam. The poster has the heroine drinking tender coconut with a straw, while the hero drinks with a straw attached to her mouth.

Musk illustrated, using the poster, how OpenAI could potentially take out data from Apple iPhones if it gets integrated on the operating system (OS) level. Calling it an "unacceptable security violation,"  Musk said he would ban Apple devices at his companies and will instruct visitors to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage.

Interestingly, the actor who starred in Thappattam thanked Musk and social media for taking his film's popularity globally.
