The video of the 'Oru Naalil' song from Kavin's latest outing Star, was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. The film hit theatres on May 10 and opened to average reviews.

The song is a reprise of the original 'Oru Naalil' song from the Dhanush-starrer Pudhupettai. Pudhupettai's music composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja,

is also the composer for Star. The song was used at a crucial segment in the film's plot, highlighting the protagonist Kalai's (Kavin) struggles.

Directed by Elan, Star is the coming-of-age tale about a middle-class man, Kavin's Kalairasan, who dreams of becoming a film actor. The film also stars Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, Geetha Kailasam, Maaran, Kaadhal Sugumar, and Nivedita Rajappan, among others.

Apart from Yuvan Shankar Raja, the technical team of Star also comprises editor Pradeep E Ragav, and cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K. The film is now available to stream on Prime Video.
