Following the cast and crew announcements for Suriya 44, it has been revealed that the film's shooting has commenced. The makers announced the same on their social media handles, along with video footage.

The video shows a rear shot of Suriya facing the sea, with two pieces of luggage beside him. The sneak peek also reveals Suriya's appearance in the film.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Suriya 44 also stars Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George and Karunakaran in pivotal roles.

The technical crew of Suriya 44 comprises music composed by Karthik Subbaraj's regular collaborator Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, editing by Shafique Mohamed, art direction by Jackson and action choreography by Kecha Khamphakdee. Karthik Subbaraj will be co-producing the film under his banner, Stone Bench Films, along with Suriya's 2D Entertainment.
