Yuvan Shankar Raja's next production venture was announced on Sunday. The film, titled Sweetheart, is billed as a contemporary love story.

Yuvan will also be scoring the music for the film, which will be his fourth film as a producer, after Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018), Maamanithan (2022), and the digitally released Pon Ondru Kanden (2024).

The film is written and directed by Swineeth S Sukumar. Balaji Subramanyam will be the cinematographer, while Tamil Arasan will handle the editing. Siva Sankar will handle art direction.

The film stars Rio Raj, Gopika Ramesh, Redin Kingsley, Renji Panicker, Arunachaleswaran Pa, Tulasi, Fouziee, and Suresh Chakravarthy.

Yuvan's recent releases included Star, Garudan, and Gangs of Godavari, and he has the upcoming Vijay film, The Greatest Of All Time, in the pipeline.
