The trailer for Halitha Shameem's Minmini was unveiled by the makers, on Wednesday. The film stars actors Esther Anil, Praveen Kishore, and Gaurav Kalai in lead roles.

The trailer shows the lead actors as friends who have been together since a young age. They're seen embarking on a bike trip to the Himalayas in the teenage years, to seek transformation and overcome personal griefs and traumas they've faced as children.

Minmini, which is said to be Halitha's dream project, was shot over seven years to show the real growth of the actors. Most of the actors featured in the film are from Halitha's debut film, Poovarasam Peepe (2014).

Minmini is expected to be a coming-of-age film that follows two youngsters who carry survivors’ guilt. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa who is also a co-producer, editor Raymond Derrick Crasta and music composer Khadija Rahman.

Minmini is all set to hit theatres on August 9.
