The trailer of Nagaraj Karuppaih's directorial, Veerayi Makkal, has been released by the makers.

As the title suggests, the story revolves around the feud between the siblings born to the mother, Veerayi. The cause of their rivalry and reconciliation is not yet clear. The plotline of Veerayi Makkal is full of must-haves in a rural family drama.

The film stars Vela Ramamoorthy, the late Marimuthu, Deepa Shankar, Suresh Nandha, Rama, Senthil Kumari, Jerald Milton, and Pandi, among others. The film is written and directed by Nagaraj Karuppaih, with Suresh Nandhi backing the film under the banner White Screen Films.

In his earlier conversation with CE, director Nagaraj Karuppaih said, “It is a rooted film, which will focus on familial relationships and highlights the importance of bonds and relatives. The message of the film is give priority to humans and relationships over material happiness, while also being connected over generations without being lost.”

Veerayi Makkal’s technical crew consists of Seenivasan as the cinematographer, with Mugan Vel handling the edits. The music is scored by Deepan Chakravarthy.

Makers are yet to reveal the official release for the film.
