On Sunday, Lyca Productions, the makers of Ajith's upcoming Vidaamuyarchi, announced that the Azerbaijan schedules of the film have been wrapped. The film is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni.

Apart from Ajith, Vidaamuyarchi features an ensemble cast comprising Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Arav, and Regina Cassandra, among others.

On the technical front, the film will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Vidaamuyarchi will mark Anirudh's third collaboration with Ajith, after Vedhalam and Vivegam. The film has cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by NB Srikanth.

It is to be noted that Vidaamuyarchi was supposed to be directed by Vignesh Shivan. But, the filmmaker was disassociated from the project due to creative differences with the production house.
