On the occasion of actor Vishnu Vishal's birthday, the makers of his upcoming film Aaryan have released a new poster of the film with an update that filming is in progress for the investigative thriller.

Aaryan, directed by debutant Praveen K, has been in the making for a long time now. The film, announced in 2022, also stars Shraddha Srinath, Vani Bhojan and Selvaraghavan in prominent roles. Speaking during the launch, Praveen said that the film follows a young police officer on a trial to crack a series of murders that happen over a span of five days. Shraddha will be essaying the role of a TV anchor while Vani will be seen as a forensic expert.

On the technical team, the film has music by Sam CS, cinematography by Vishnu Subhash and editing by San Lokesh. Aaryan is co-written by Manu Anand. The film is produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz. Apart from Tamil, the film will also be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. A release date is yet to be disclosed by the makers.

Apart from Aaryan, Vishnu Vishal has Mohandas, directed by Kalavu-fame Murali Karthick awaiting release. Apart from these, he has also announced films with directors Ramkumar and Chella Ayyavu with whom he has previously worked in Ratsasan and Gatta Kusthi. The actor is also working on a film with director Gokul, who recently made Singapore Saloon. On Tuesday, ahead of his birthday, he revealed that he has joined hands with director Sathish Selvakumar of Bachelor-fame for a new film.
