The second single from Prabhu Deva's Petta Rap, 'Aaraathi Aaraathi', was released by the makers on Wednesday.

The under-three-minute song video is set against a wedding reception where the leading lady, Vedhika, with other dancers, is seen shaking a leg to probably cheer up her friend who is getting married, where she chances upon Prabhu Deva's character.

The song, composed by D Imman, has lyrics by Mani Amudhavan and is sung by Pavithra Chari.

Previously, the makers unveiled the first single titled 'Athirattum Dum Dum Dum'. The song is crooned by D Imman and Deepthi Suresh, with lyrics by Viveka.

Written by Dinil PK, Petta Rap marks the Tamil debut of SJ Sinu, who is known for directing Malayalam films like Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021). Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi, and Riyaz Khan are also part of the cast.

Bankrolled by Jobi P Sam, Petta Rap's technical crew also consists of cinematographer Jithu Damodhar and editor Nishad Yusuf.

Petta Rap wrapped filming in February, and a release date is yet to be announced.
