Uriyadi-fame Vijay Kumar's latest outing at the theatres, Election, is now available to stream on Prime Video. The film hit theatres on May 17 and opened to average reviews.

Also starring Preethi Asrani in lead roles, the film is directed by Thamizh. Election is bankrolled by Adithya under the Reel Good Films banner.

Election follows a charged local body election caused by caste schism within a political party. The extended cast of Election includes George Maryan, Vathikuchi-fame Dileepan, Richa Joshi, Natchiyal Suganthi, and Pavel Navageethan in important character roles.

Election has dialogues penned by writer Azhagiya Periyavan. On the technical front, Mahendran Jayaraj, who is best known for 96, is the cinematographer while Govind Vasantha is the composer, CS Prem Kumar is the editor, and Renganaath Ravee is the sound designer.
