Sun Pictures announced on Sunday that the trailer for Raayan, Dhanush's 50th film, will be released on July 16.

Dhanush is also directing the A-certified gangster saga, which boasts an ensemble cast that includes Prakash Raj, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, Sundeep Kishan,Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Saravanan.

Raayan's technical crew comprises cinematographer Om Prakash, music composer AR Rahman and editor Prasanna GK. The film recently had its audio launch function on July 6 and is scheduled to hit the big screens on July 26. 

Raayan will mark Dhanush's fifth collaboration with Sun Pictures after Padikkathavan (2009), Mappillai (2011), Aadukalam (2011), and Thiruchitrambalam (2022).
