After having worked as an assistant director to filmmakers Ameer Sultan and Samuthirakani, S Sam is all set to make his directorial debut with Yolo, an acronym for You Only Live Once.

The film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in the presence of Ameer and Samuthirakani. Yolo will also introduce Dev as the male lead, who is joined by Devika.

Billed as a rom-com, the director says his film conveys the message that we live only once and that life should be lived in an idealistic manner. He adds that the breezy and entertaining screenplay will carry this message.

Apart from the main cast, the film also features Badava Gopi, Praveen, Swati Nair, Akash Prem, Nithi Pradeep, Divakar, Yuvaraj, and Dileep Kumar, among others.

The film's screenplay is written by Sam, Rams Murugan (who also takes the story credit), and Panbu Selvan. The rest of the technical crew has cinematographer Sooraj Nallusami, editor AL Ramesh, music director Sukishna Xavier, art director Sampath Thilak, and stunt director 'Danger' Mani.

Yolo is produced by Mahesh Selvaraj's MR Motion Pictures.
